In today's modern steel plant industrial gas technology plays an integral role in many steel-making processes. The use of industrial gas technology has proven itself to be a constant ally to companies in the challenge to continually improve production, quality, and consistency. Industrial gas technology also assists with pressing environmental issues.
Linde has been working in this area for many years to make the most of what industrial gas technology has to offer. We pride ourselves in our ability to innovate and work closely with real customers and their issues, and as a result we have been at the forefront in implementing many innovative technologies for the iron and steel industries.
To support our activities in the field, we have a dedicated team of engineers and scientists whose role it is to develop new processes, burners and associated equipment and assist in the implementation. Their work takes place both in dedicated technical centers established by Linde and at the steel plants where they may be called upon to assist in start-ups, trials, process optimization studies and customer training. |
